The Little Gray Bear and the Little Lion

故事全文

Once upon a time, a little gray bear and a lion cub lived in the woods. They were good friends and often played and went hunting together. However, they always argued over small things. Sometimes, they even fought.

One day, they pounced on a rabbit at the same time. Both the little gray bear and the lion cub thought that the rabbit belonged to them. They started to argue over the rabbit, and then they started to fight. Before they knew it, the rabbit had escaped. When the little gray bear found that the rabbit had run away, he yelled at the lion cub, "It is all your fault! My dinner has run away because of you. I do not want to play with you anymore!" Then, he ran home angrily.

When the little gray bear got home, Mama Bear saw that he had gotten into a fight. She said, "Dear child, did you get into a fight with your friend?" The little gray bear felt so upset he started to cry. He said, "Mama! I caught a rabbit, but the lion cub said he caught it first. I was so angry that I picked a fight with him, and the rabbit ran away! I do not want to be friends with him anymore." Mama Bear patted the little gray bear on the head and said, "Friends should learn to get along with each other. Do not get angry at your friend over trivial things. Losing a good friend over a small rabbit is just not worth it."
The little gray bear felt sorry after hearing what Mama Bear said.

He listened to Mama Bear's advice and went to the lion cub's home to say he was sorry. The lion cub also felt that he should not have gotten into a fight with the little gray bear over a small rabbit. He said sorry to the little gray bear too. From then onwards, their friendship grew even closer, and they stopped arguing or fighting over trivial things.
